DENVER -- Relying exclusively on his out pitch, Colorado closer Huston Street threw eight sliders to Philadelphia pinch-hitter John Mayberry Jr. Nike Air Max 2015 Heren . in a drawn-out, ninth-inning at-bat that ended with a bang. Mayberry hit the last of the sliders for a game-tying two-run homer and Shane Victorino homered to lead off the 10th as the Philadelphia Phillies overtook the Rockies 4-3 on Monday night for their fourth straight win. "That meant more than anything," Victorino said. "I got my at-bat because of what Mayberry did. That was a huge play." Down to their last out and trailing 3-1, the Phillies got a double from Carlos Ruiz. Mayberry, pinch-hitting for reliever Michael Stutes, worked the count full before putting Streets 83 m.p.h. slider into the bleachers in left for his seventh homer. "As a bench guy, you normally get one at-bat," Mayberry said. "Hopefully, you make the most of it and I was able to do that tonight." Added Mayberry, "He just left a slider out over the plate and I was able to get the barrel on it." It was Mayberrys first pinch-homer of the year and the third of his career. It was the third pinch-homer this season by the NL East-leading Phillies, who moved to a season high 30 games above .500 (69-39). "We played them pitch for pitch and we were a pitch away from winning and we end up getting beat in the game by two pitches," Colorado manager Jim Tracy said. "Mayberry had a very, very good at-bat against Huston. He hung a slider and he hit it out." Rex Brothers (1-2) came on to pitch the 10th and Victorino greeted him with a drive that cleared the wall in left for the Phillies 29th come-from-behind victory this season. "I was able to lay off the sliders and got a pitch to hit," said Victorino, who pointed happily to his parents in the stands as he crossed home plate. "They were all excited and its always nice to see your parents happy." Philadelphia improved to 6-6 in extra-inning games while the Rockies lost for the sixth time in seven extra-inning games this season. Antonio Bastardo (5-0) pitched a scoreless ninth for the victory and Ryan Madson got last three outs for his 19th save in 20 chances. Phillies starter Cole Hamels allowed two runs and six hits in six innings. He walked one and struck out five while Colorados Jhoulys Chacin, who had been in line for his first win in six weeks, gave up one run and six hits in 7 1-3 innings. He struck out two and walked two Colorado broke on top on Seth Smiths ninth homer of the season. With Ty Wigginton at second after a single and a stolen base, Smith drove Hamels 2-1 offering into the stand of evergreen trees beyond the fence in centre field. Victorino tried to score from first on Chase Utleys two-out double off the right field wall in the third but he was cut down on a close play at the plate when catcher Iannettas sweeping tag snagged his upper jersey before the sliding Victorino could touch the bag. The Phillies had runners at first and second with one out in the second but Chacin induced Ruiz to ground into an inning-ending double play. Chacin worked out of a jam in the fifth when he struck out Hamels and Jimmy Rollins after giving up a one-out double to Ruiz. Notes: Smiths homer was his 42nd extra-base hit of the season, second on the club to Troy Tulowitizkis 49. ...
